1. INTRODUCTION

Kinnikuman Muscle Fight is a fighting game made in 2D Fighter Maker 95 based on the long-running Kinnikuman manga/anime. The purpose of this page is to provide an English resource for players new to the game. Muscle Fight is still receiving updates as of 2025; this page will be kept up-to-date to reflect the latest information about the game.

We recommend the use of the Muscle Gear utility, which adds features and game modes.

2. DOWNLOADS

Download the game and character files as a complete package HERE.

Download character files individually HERE.

Download game files individually below; the date of each file's last update is provided.

Optional files can be installed by copying them to the main Muscle Fight folder and overwriting the original files.

3. HOW TO INSTALL

Muscle Fight is free. You may download the game as a complete package along with the Muscle Gear utility. 2D Fighter Maker 95 is not required.

Instructions:

  1. Download Muscle Fight packaged with all characters and the Muscle Gear utility HERE (compiled by Aoi Russian, last updated 2025.09.06)
  2. Extract the files
  3. Run Muscle Gear (MG.exe) or the game's .exe file
  4. If you have any difficulties, consult our Troubleshooting guide or email mail@musclebusting.com

4. MENU TRANSLATIONS

Only the "Game" section under the Option Menu is in Japanese. Translations are provided below.

  Select background

  Set speed (10 is default)

  Set time limit (0 is infinite)

  Show hitboxes

  Show FPS

  Use Joystick

Keyboard Controls:

A, B and C buttons are used by all characters and correspond to Weak, Medium and Strong attacks. D is used as a taunt button for certain characters.

Joystick Controls:

If your stick is not recognized or if you need to reassign Up, Right, Down and Left you'll need to use Joy2Key.

5. MUSCLE GEAR

On its own, Muscle Fight has a cap of 50 characters; the Muscle Gear utility lets you easily add additional characters. It also adds new game modes and quality of life changes, including the ability to continue after losing, and is highly recommended.

By default, Kinnikuman Muscle Fight has two game modes:

  1. Single Player
  2. Two-Player

Muscle Gear adds the following modes to the game:

  1. Story
  2. Battle
  3. Survival
  4. True Story
  5. Team Competition
  6. Tournament
  7. League
